The Alzheimer’s Association, GA Chapter, is always in need of good volunteers. We have opportunities ranging from a one-time/one-day event to those with an on-going commitment of an hour or two per month. Most of our opportunities occur during the weekday, with some occasional opportunities on Saturdays. Jobs vary from performing administrative duties in the Chapter Office, assisting with our Helpline to becoming an Advocate who speaks with legislators about Alzheimer’s related issues. We also have opportunities in our development department. Assistance is needed in running events (including our signature fundraising and awareness event – Walk to END Alzheimer’s) which may mean that volunteers serve on a steering committee or helping the day of, making sure that everything is ready to go to make sure an event is successful.
