We’ve been absent for far too long from the blogging world – and we’re here to stay! We want our blog to become a place not only where we can update you on what is going on here at the Alzheimer’s Association, Georgia Chapter offices behind the scenes, but what is going on in support of the Alzheimer’s cause in our communities around the state of Georgia and beyond, a place where we can show what our programs and services are capable of, share research & advocacy news and most importantly – make this a place where your voice can be heard. Everyone has a story, and if you have a story you want to share please email Kendalle at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Right now, the Walk to End Alzheimer’s season still isn’t over here for us and we’re still fundraising for ALL walks through November 30th this year! Here are our remaining walks this year:
- Calhoun & Gainesville, GA both have walks THIS Saturday, October 20th
- Watkinsville, GA is THIS Sunday, October 21st
- Augusta & Perry, GA are both NEXT weekend Saturday, October 10th
- Rome, GA is Saturday, November 10th
It’s not too late to sign up at alz.org/walk – or to donate for a walk that has already passed! We wouldn’t be able to do what we do in providing our programs in services to the 200,000+ Georgians in need of them without you, and we just aren’t where we need to be yet this year! THANK YOU to everyone who has come out so far this Walk season! We would not be able to do what we do without you!
Stay tuned for more regular posts moving forward from here on out!
